Unsuccessful in everything. My dad had a good chance at sheep this year with 22% drawing odds but didn't get it.

My father-in-law drew 38 moose.

My father had a 1 in 8 shot on bull moose in unit 8 with 12 points he didn't draw. But he decided that he's throw in the back up plan and take a cow tag.

Out of everyone that drew a cow tag in unit 5, he is the only one with 12 points.

Probably could have waited another year and shot a bull, but he told me "I have killed 5 bull moose in my life in Alaska, we might as well get one cow". Then again, with point creep he might have waited 2 or 3.

You have to shoot a dry cow with no calf. So that's the hard part. I am sure the wolves will work hard this spring to make sure that there are lots of dry cows.
