    New Map-it software....Colorado Hunting Atlas

    you remember that crappy map it software the dow had on website...man did they improve it this year. played with it til my eyes burned. resolution is better than google earth on satellite. does not have 3d angle like google but shows lots of other cool stuff. check it out.

    I was playing around with it before apps were due. The detail you can see is pretty amazing!!!

    Hmmmm. I checked it out last night. I wasnt really that impressed. Maybe my browser isnt configured right.

    I too checked it out and your right, the detail is great. I started looking at hunting spot I have in other states, yep they are all there. I even looked at my own place here in Colorado and it seems to me that the picts were taken about a year ago.

    Ahhh.. I figured it out. You have to turn the "hunter refference" all the way down. Now It is a great improvement!

    lol Yea. Took me some time to get it all worked out also. The more I play with it the better I like it. I was trying to find some sheep...literally. i am convinced you could see an animal. could see 4 ppl walking on a trail.

    Looks like they switched it to Bing Maps. I noticed the other day the Bing Maps were much more detailed than Google Maps.

    I did it! Found 3 bull elk on there. In favorite basin above timberline. 1 bedded and 2 feeding. Pictures do seem to be new...
