    Archery Tags

One thing I can't understand is why they allocate less archery tags than any weapon tags. Aren't success rates with a bow infinitesimally less than with a rifle? It seems to me that you could give out five times as many archery tags and never approach the number killed with a rifle. Maybe I'm just not a very good bowhunter. Thoughts?

I asked an official about that, his exact words were, "there is not enough demand". I believe it was also stated in writing last year in tag quotas.

Wow that seems a little weird to me. I think if more people drew tags there would be more demand
