What Arrows do you shoot?

Easton FMJs. They hit hard. They also bend.

After 8 months of use i ran mine through an arrow checker... Turns out I had a few bent ones. Couldnt figure out why my groups started to get bigger.

But overall still love the FMJ's

Gold Tip Pro's 7595. 420 grains and they hit very hard.

Easton Flatline Surgical. Supposed to be the straightest shooting arrow out there. I used to shoot FMJ, but had too many that were bent, so I just replaced the whole dozen with the Flatlines.

Gold Tip XT Hunter 7595. Just switched from the lighter 5575 to this heavier 7595 this winter. Helped my groups, as I don't think I had enough spine in the lighter arrows. Ive only shot a turkey with them this spring, and the arrow definately seemed to hit him very hard. Gold Tip is a tough arrow.

Gold Tip pro hunters, I like that I can practice with the cheaper expedition arrows and not have to worry about ruining them as they are expensive and both arrows shoot exactly the same.

If they shoot the same, why not just always shoot the expeditions? I shoot the pro hunters, and thought they came out of my bow much better than the expeditions did.

Let me clarify that Fink, good point. The pros shoot better, they are reserved for hunting as I can't afford to replace them very often, The expeditions allow me to practice with an arrow that I can afford to replace after lots of practice that don't require me to change my setup at all. Does that make sense? I definitely shoot better groups with the pros, but use the expedition for rabbits and such...

So far carbon express mutiny's but am upgrading to pse radial x weaves. Suppose to be the best. Straightness is one thousandths of a inch better than gold tips.

Went to FMJ's instead. They were more expensive and just as good. Really like them. Want to give the pse arrows a try though.

Yeah, that makes good sense. I still have several expeditions left over, and I use them to start to sight my bow in whenever I make big changes. It's a little easier on the wallet to lose or destroy the cheap arrows. A few months back, after I put a new sight on, I shot an expedition into my concrete basement wall. The arrow did not win.
