I tried with my bow for quite a few days and just couldn't do it and I ran out of time to be able to turkey hunt and I'd much rather eat a turkey than my tag!

Ya, hunt'n those birds with a bow really increases the difficulty level. Some years it all comes together and others years not at all. That's a really nice bird you got there.........congrats.

Get ya a ground blind and stick with it.......it'll happen. One of my most succesful setups is putting the blind between the roost tree and my decoys, this setup makes the birds walk by the blind to get to the decoys. As the birds walk by the blind "all back and side windows closed" headed for the deeks your already at full draw when they come into a front window, by then it's to late for Mr. Tom.
