Archery Elk Hunting

What is the best state that I could be hunting elk in with a bow next year?

I am thinking the same thing and I am going to go to Colorado. Got some people to help me so know where I am going. I would say CO

Its kinda late in the year to start thinking about next year because most state's application dates have come and gone; missing a chance to buy a points. You can buy a preference point in wyoming starting in july. some states have opportunities for zero preference units but there is a reason why these tags are available. You certainly will have more chance with archery than muzzleloader or rifle. Just have to do some homework.
