    Make your own mounts

    Anybody out there do any of your own mounts? European, do your own taxidermy? Post em up!

    I have not done my own taxi but I'm hoping to learn from my current taxi. He is very willing to teach.

    Taxi

    Was in the Army for 9 years. Was medically retired and I used the GI bill to go to Taxidermy School. Its now my passion. The bass just went to the Colorado State Championships and got a 2nd in Professional Division.

    I haven't seen many bass but it looks 1st place to me.

    Wow, nice fortgeorge. Those look fantastic. I have made a few euro style mounts, I will dig up some pictures.

    Not a great picture, but here they are. That forked horn was my first buck. I made both the mount boards.... It is fun going through the whole process. I would love to learn how to taxi some day

    get some 40 volume peroxide and put it on them let sit in sun. will be brilliant white. then seal them with clear sealer.
