A sanctuayt in Colorado moved 11 wolves from the path of the forest fire. The remaining 19 wolves were allowed to remain as they had concrete underground fireproof bunkers.
What were the 30 wolves doing there in the first place? What is planned for their future?

Wyoming will sell trophy tags to anyone who wants to buy one for the greater yellowstone area. There is a quota of 52 wolves. This is a mortality based quota. So as soon as there have been 52 wolves killed, the season is over. Outside the greater yellowstone area, wolves will be predators. Therefore, they will be able to be shot onsite without a license!
