looking at large pistol calibers Im looking at .475 Linebaugh .454 Casuall .500 wyoming express. Does any one have experince with any of theses.

I would look hard at the 454 the great thing is that you can shoot 45 long colt out of it also to cut the cost of most target shooting in half. But you still have the 454 for when you need it.

Switchback, whenever I see these for sale, they always come with a new box of ammo that is missing either 3,6,9 bullets. If it is missing just three, the gun has only had one owner, 6 if the gun has had 2 owners, 9 if this is the 3rd owner, usually by then the gun finds a safe to look pretty in. I do like the idea of shooting the 45 colt out of it. I read where you can shoot a 45 and 454 out of a SW 460. I dont like the the looks of the SW revolvers as much as Freedom Arms

I had the Ruger 454, shot it alot, with both 45 long colt and the 454! You must have a strong wrist and grip to shoot but it is more than manageable with practice
