I concur on the 41 Magnum, it is the best of the magnum pistol cartridges.

We bought both the 460 and 500 Smith and Wesson X-Frame revolvers in the hunting models. I am very impressed with the 460, the 500 really is too much of a good thing. I would imagine that the 475 and 500 Wyoming Express in the Freedom pistol would be much more of a good thing, even though they are considerablly less powerful.

Smith's big 460 just works wonderfully and it really depends on where we end up moving next year but I might use it for the whole 2014 hunting season.

The only reason I am keeping the 500 is to shoot a bison in Wyoming or Custer state park when I get drawn. Beyond that I am not sure I will keep it afterward. To say the least it is too much of a good thing.
