I know what he means now. I've posted these pictures on other forums under a different name. This is the only forum I use Old Hunter on.

I use Muley, Muley Hunter, Still Hunter, and Buzz. Sometimes the name I want to use is already taken, so I mix it up to keep everybody guessing.

Well, i'm not seeing what I like up high this year. I've decided to hunt lower this year at my old hunting area. Too bad I don't have a buck tag this year. The first picture shows a nice buck staring at me. This was the last picture I took before the batteries went dead. It a little out of focus, and for some reason looks farther away than it was. I was no more than 30-40 yds away. It would have been a kill. The rest of the pictures are just some shots showing the area. A nice timber area that I love to still hunt with lots of rubs and droppings. For sure it's a bedding area. I never got a picture of an elk, but they were really vocal this morning. Lots of bugles. The best part about this area is it only takes me 14 minutes to get to it from home.

Buck is right in the center of the picture.

Then I started through the timber to see what I could find.

    Saw lots of poop

Is that elk poop or moose poop?

It's moose. I showed a picture of a cow moose by the waterhole somewhere on here.

    Here's some elk.
