Agree wholeheartedly. He had room to spare in his UL2. The only way 2 people is fitting in my UL1 is if they are stacked on top of each other. Bring it on sweet young Goddesses!

A flask of glenlivet would take less room, and be lighter to carry. Plus, you ever drink beer out of a straw?

I went with the Copper Spur UL1 because I liked the side entry door compared with the front entry Fly Creek. For a UL1 I liked the set-up size I'm 5'11" and fit great in the Copper Spur, however, the pack size seems to be a little larger than the Fly Creek. Does anyone have any comparisons of the two?

I have the ul2. I'm 6'4" wouldn't want to share but i can sit up and eat.

I am headed to the store in the next hour to get my new Fly Creek UL2.

Question: does anybody use that footprint floor, or is not worth the weight and hassle? I know I could get it later, but we are going on a weekend fishing trip, and it is a perfect oporunity to get this and put some "tent time" in.

We use the foot prints on our tents. The fly creek is made of such lightweight material, that 1:You'll never notice the extra 3oz or whatever it weighs, and 2: You'll want the extra protection it provides.

got the Fly Creek UL2 and took it out last weekend. Really happy with it so far. Quick and easy to setup. I really see the value in the footprint. I like the steep pitch on the top to shed snow. I think most of the bivy type tents, my old one included, sag enough in the middle, that you could have a pile of snow resting on your chest when you wake up because it pulled the stakes out at the ends.

I would agree with previous posts. 2 person tent if you are "really" cozy. Great for keeping gear inside.
