Will it give me angle compensation for bow hunting as well as what it does for rifle shooters?

It will give you degree of angle at short distances as well as long.

I called Leica and they said it does not start angle compensation until I think 50 yards. So it would not work for bow hunting.

I see. I used the feature at about 60 yards and just assumed it would do it closer.

I use the nikon archers choice for bowhunting and that one for rifle hunting.
