    Looks like the majority of Colorado hunters here don't like out of state hunters, come to Idaho. Spend your money here and help keep our resident tags cheap. $30 for a resident elk tag, can't beat that. I know some areas and can give you an idea on a public land hunt. shoot me a pm.

    Colorado has no problem selling the tags. Do you think our joking around is going to stop hunters from coming here?

    It stopped me. Your keen insight into the area has led me to believe there are few, if any, elk, and if there are any, they probably have diseases making them unfit to eat. I'm just going to buy an OTC tag for Missouri's new herd.

    haha, im gonna pass up on my idaho controled tag and take all my buddies to old hunters honey hole in his homestate good luck guys! the way these fires are burning in bolth colorado and idaho it will be interesting to see how this fall pans out.
