Nice set of pictures and story for you too Timberstalker. I like that picture of you packing the head out. Is that the same ram as your avitar profile picture? Looks like the same ram .

Very cool seeing you both in the 25th anniversary Eastmans' issue. Contgratulations again to both of you.

Nice job fellas!!! Timbers talker....ur a stud spending 15 days in the snake. I did three trips for sprng bear the last being solo kinda....had the bird dog with me and it kick my butt every trip. Beating my butt motivated me into training for the Portland marathon. Then my buddies wife drew her goat tag for the snake. So we r heading over for 20 days and r going to chase elk around after the goat tag is filled. I am very excited but nervous at the same time cuz I injured myself during traing for the marathon and just got the ok to start working out again this thursday. So not having shot my bow or worked out in seven weeks, gaining over 15 pounds in that time has me a little more than nervous but what's a guy to do....go and try and make it happen. Great job on he sheep and great solo story!!!

Thanks for the replies. KR, yes that is the same ram.

Wild, Congrats on your buddies wife's goat tag, should be a good hunt. To be honest it wasnt as tough sheep hunting there as elk hunting. I didn't have any other hunters to compete with, so I just went at "my" pace. Not to say it was easy, the 95 degree weather was a big challange.

IKC, I would love to bag a nice ol' mulie like yours! Good to see there are some good bucks out there on public land.

I finally got mine yesterday! I'm gonna sit down Tomarrow and start reading the whole thing. I'm really looking forward to reading your story TS.

By the way TS did you get some extra issues?
