I am looking to cut some weight on my pack for just 2-3 day trips. I use the same pack for all trips and really want to cut the weight on just weekend trips. I read somewhere that a guy did weekend backcountry trips with a pack that was 2.5 or 3.5 lbs. What is a quality lighweight pack that can still handle packing out an animial and camp at the sametime and not make you feel like you just packed out an entire elk in one trip?
