I was out last night 08/15/2012 doing some scouting/gaining permission to hunt an area near billings MT. I noticed a lot of rut type behavior.. I thought it was early yet for the rut, has anyone else seen or experienced any of this already this season??

I was in Yellowstone 2 weeks ago and watched bucks chase each other off. Seems a little early to me. But I have a wedding this weekend in whitehall and Im gonna try and squezze a hunt or two in.
