I'd like to change the front fire sight that comes on my muzzleloader and I haven't been able to find more of a common bead type front sight that fits on a round barrel. I think this may be better for me with a peep at the rear. Wondering if anyone may have some advice as to where I might be able to find one.

I was thinking the same thing but I was hoping a metal one might be smaller profile.

That's part of the problem. Lots of options if you had a dovetail. Not so many if it screws down.
