Need a deer hide.

I have been looking for an early season deer hide (still has the red/summer hair) for my NV buck. Mine was in not so good shape after he slid into second base three or four times. Anyone have one, or know someone with one?

Talk to a local taxidermists they can usually get any hides needed.

Ya, my buddy is the local taxidermis. He has tried all of is go to people, and I figured I need do some checking on my own. He can find regular mulie hides, but the early season ones I guess are hard to come by.

I don't know how big of a hurry you are in. You may try letting some taxidermists know before next early season. It seems to me that guys always want the winter coats so a taxy might be able to get his hands on one from an early hunt if he knows ahead of time. Good luck.
