Man this gets me pumped up! I'll be out there chasin goats on Friday, can't come soon enough!
sweet!i have to wait a few more weeks..
Dam nice goat ! A friend of mine had a deer tag for that area last year. He shot a so so buck.
Isn't it called the Sheldon Wildlife Preserve or something like that ? I've been banking my deer and antelope points in Nv.
If the have lopers like that running around on Sheldon.... Thanks for the tip !![]()
That's a nice pronghorn. I love those long prongs.
Great prongs! Glad to see the Sheldon's are still producing good bucks still.
That's an awesome buck! I had the first season rifle tag on the Sheldon in 2010 and spent 9 days there. I hiked so much on that hunt that my low cut hikers were trashed and I threw them away after the hunt. I even hiked in the dark to a waterhole 4 miles off the road late in the hunt. We just could not find a buck over 80" and went home empty handed as did the guys camped near us. The third guy in our camp hunted all week and finally decided to take an average 15" buck. That guy knew his antelope, as he had a 90" buck to his credit from AZ. The year we hunted the feral horses were everywhere.
