large heards allready?

ive heard bulls singing in aug before but usualy only at night with locator calls. this is kinda twilightish

It's always at daylight, and then never again. At least that's what's been happening for me.

I usually find hunting after a full moon will bring the elk into the morning later and talk more. Hunting during the full they are very much nocturnal. I have moved my hunt up a week this year to capitalize on that dark week in September.
