Wyoming unit #66 Bull hunt 9/1-12 public land access

I will be hunting unit #66 with a general elk tag on Sept 9th - 12th. I live in AZ and driving up. Interested in any info about public land near Meeteetse junction 120 and Lower Greybill road?

I plan to do a little scouting this week so time is running short for me.

There have been quite a few elk on both sides of the highway. The state placed flashing signs to warn people and to try and reduce vehicle elk collisions. I would call the meteetsee game warden. I can't remember his name but he is a straight shooter. 66 is around some great elk areas but in and of itself is pretty hit and miss. Weather dependent. Private land. That kind of stuff
