Anyone ever trade a hunt for a hunt???

I was just wondering if anyone ever worked out a trade for a person hunt on their land in one state for access to hunt on their land in another state? I was just wondering because I am heading to Region H in Wyoming in about a month and a half and was going to see if anyone would be interested in letting me hunt mule deer on their land and I would take them out pheasant hunting here in ND. I don't have any idea if this is even legal to do. Any thoughts??

I have heard that as long as money does not change hands, it is fine, but it would be wise to check the regulations in the states involved. I have thought it would be cool to do, since we have a few Columbia Whitetails on our place, and there are only a few spots in the world to hunt those deer.

Seems to me I remember I ran across a website one time that specialized it this. Been awhile so I don't remember the details.

That sounds like it would be a great hunt. I wouldn't do a trade with money involved. I am against having to pay someone to harvest one of God's creatures!! It is just getting really tough to find land to hunt on without someone wanting money. But oh well I will keep on plugging away until I can't hunt anymore.

How does that work? The tag wouldn't be in your name.

No, if I have a tag in a certain state for that year to hunt. Here in ND you can just buy a pheasant license over the counter. I was just asking because I have a tag in WY for this year.
