    I really need to go....

    I'm thinking
    1st sitka blacktail hunt

    then float trip for moose/caribou, or perhaps outfitted?

    of course a dall sheep sounds pretty nice too!

    A good bull caribou may go 500lbs. this one looks that big with the belly on him!

    Sitka Blacktail is my favorite hunt up here. They are generally plentiful, packable and great to eat! If you need any ideas on planning, let me know, I'd be happy to help out, for the float trip too. Sheep are a "Guide Required" hunt. I can help point you towards a good guide if you get interested in that.

    That bear was near the oil fields on the north slope. Fish and Game monitor a bunch of the bears up there and had ear tagged this one as a cub. It may be hard to see in the photo but he is wearing a radio tracking collar around his neck too. In my opinion they over study the bears up there, it's hard to find a bear that doesn't have a tag or collar or, as in this case, both.
    The possible good part is they(fish and game) will tell you about them if you ask. This guy is a 5 1/2 year old boar. Nice looking bear either way and certainly still wild.
