EHJ Article featuring Oregon Blacktail

I'm looking for a past issue of EHJ that featured a non-typical blacktail taken in the High Cascades. The hunt took place in the B&B complex fire, and was accessed off of the Pacific Crest Trail. I'm thinking it was between 2005-2009.

Any help you could give in helping me locate this article would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Try the Archives on the main page of EHJ. You can look thought them with the year of the issue. If you remember the title to the story you can google it with adding EHJ. Good luck

Thanks. I had searched those prior to posting. I had also emailed and called the Eastman's office...no such luck. Hopefully, someone out there remembers, or still has the magazine and I can order one shortly.

It must be pre-EHJ 107 June/July 08; thats as far back as I can look in my stack of old issues. I remember the article that you looking for though. I remeber thinking thats cool someone was in Eastmans that hunts the same area as I do.

Just got the last copy that Eastman's had...thanks again for the info. This was the article that I was looking for. Now to count the days until the opener. Good luck this year.

Good luck, I will be just east of the PCT with stick and string this year. Hoping for a nice Mule deer this year.
