Anyone Interested in DIY NW MT Bear Hunt in Sept?

Anyone interested in joining up to hunt black bear in NW MT? I am planning to hunt solo but two is more fun and half the work in packing out.

I live in NC and am flying out to Spokane Sept 17 or 18 to tent camp for a week. Planning to hunt either near Libby or N of Kalispell, though since I have never hunted NW MT I would be open to another good area.

Any tips on where to go would also be appreciated. I just tagged those areas based on harvest and bear density stats and talking to the biologists.

Wow I just read your post. Obviously way too late but I would also like to hear if you went and if you were able to have any success.

I'm going to try again this May, Lord willing. I'll have more time this trip and hopefully the bears will be more active than they were last fall when I only had 3 days. I think I've got a better idea how to go about it this time, too.
