I started reloading a few years ago, I got the Hornady progressive press, I've been happy with it ever since.

I havn't had any problems with mine?? Besides punching out old primers on military surplus ammo "5.56". That surplus ammo has a primer sleeve that has to be reamed out as well, pain in the a#$, so I avoid it now. Originally Posted by HuntWYODon

I used to have to ream primer pockets on 5.58 and 7.62 for my 2 AR-180's and HK 91. Pain in the culo ! Got them cheap back then though.

One broke and something with the primer feed broke , Can't remember. been 6 or more years ago.
I use a lot of Hornady dies. Never had a problem with them though. Heading out to go see Expendables 2 now. The Republican actor action move. Gonna count libs at the theater. LOL !

I recommend a Forster press and Redding dies. As for a powder measure, the RCBS Chargemaster is really nice.

I like Redding dies best also and also have a RCBS Chargemaster. My third digital scale. Works great. I had a Dillion that would drift so bad I couldn't use it anymore. The cheaper RCBS I had was no good either. Originally Posted by Elkoholic307
