If he got in trouble, you think they would have showed it. Because they like to show everybuddy being caught, which is good. Because I'm sure lots of cases go being unsolved. He probly still has a good case, because the cat was on his prop, and destroying his live stock, he has every right to kill the cat. DFG just has to stick there noses in his bisness because the libs passed the stupid cat law.

They thought they were gonna bust someone. Funny when he said the collars cost between $5000.00 and $10,000.00 . I LOL ! That's a pretty big spread and thought is that our tax payer price or what they really cost. Waste of money.

I have heard that when our California Fish and Game Commission President got flack for shooting a mountain lion out of state in Idaho he is quoted saying, “It’s like a pork loin. It’s white meat and it’s really good," Richards said. “In frontier times, it was a delicacy.”

I guess Disney Griz does not know what it's missing.

I agree. I've always said If I or my son got attacked by a mtn. lion in Ca. I would file a law suit on the state of Ca. and sue for negligence and failure to manage wildlife and endangering life. Something in that order. Take Moonbeam Jerry to court !

The law passing to delist mountain lions has failed more than once now here in California. My hope is with increased sightings, attacks and encounters with mountain lions and with the right spokesman and proper education it will pass one day. Managing wildlife without also managing it's super predators is insane!

News flash, Humane Society of the United States. With the existence other folks like Dan Richards it negates the insane assumption that the HSUS speaks for all citizens of California.

It's good to rant or vent sometimes and not let it build up. Especially when you are ranting about the correct thing ! Mis-management of lions and this lib state for that matter !

I agree I vent constantly about this issue. I even had a game warden at my house shooting the other night venting about the same issue and he let me in on some interesting information regarding the lions and ca. It still blows my mind that alot of liberals say that it is a circle effect with predators. Being that they will eventually get back to a normal population with out any management and just run out of food (Deer) and die of starvation. I kno this lion thing has been preached and preached and it looks like it will never change. Sad but true
