Shiras moose usually rut thru the middle of Sept thru Oct. here in Montana and I couldnt imagine it would be to much diff. for Wyoming.

I hunted around Pinedale in 2007 and on Oct 3rd the moose rut was going full swing! We called in several including the one I got who was with 3 cows. But I elk hunted there in '09 the last week of October and the moose were still rutting some but was pretty well done but the rut had obviously started later that year.
