Beside it is beautiful country with great hunting the biggest pro of all is it is not bankrupt California!
A bad day in the woods is better than a good day at work.
Shoot the best, Shoot PSE!
I have a buddy that lives very close to there. He loves it. My hunting partner hunt elk near there too and he also wants to move there.
I don't Break the rules, I Modify them.
How about the town itself? Family friendly? Schools? I figured the hunting and fishing would be good..bankrupt Kalifornia is EXACTLY why I'm looking to move!
go to thier chamber of commerce website, its a great town in my opinion! don't know about schools though bud which is way important for sure!
I have relatives there and I'm sure they were happy enough with the school system. I've always found the locals to be friendly when I visit. You won't be the first from California to move there. I don't believe the economy is growing much but it's not going too far backwards either. It looks like a real nice area if you have to live in the lower 48!
To find the cost of living in various Colorado towns and cities go to this link: http://www.cityrating.com/cost-of-li.../#.UbEjPUDVB8E
That might be of some benefit when you are choosing what Colorado town to live in.
You can also look up housing costs at Zillow. Just type in the name of any town or look at this chart that lists a few towns in CO
http://www.zillow.com/local-info/CO-home-value/r_10/
To look up school district ratings go to this link:

Montrose schools apparently rank much lower than nearby Delta schools.
