    Wolf tags available

    Wolf tags are available for Wyomings trophy area. Season starts Oct 15.

    Is it for NR and R? And where is the trophy area?

    The hunt is for R and NR. Not sure of the NR price though. The trophy area is pretty much the greater yellowstone area. It does go further south than the traditional greater yellowstone area. The southern part turns into predator area outside of wolf breeding season. You might want to go the the game and fish website to look at the boundaries and rules. The tags should fill quickly I would think. Only 60 wolves for a quota. Cant wait for the pack of black wolves around NE Wyo shows up again. They shouldnt last too long into Oct. since the ranchers will shoot on site.

    I'll be in southern Wy in a week.....I'd better not see a wolf (or anything that even comes close to looking like one!) or it's SSStime.
