Area 70 Wyoming Antelope Success 2012

    DSC04227.jpgDSC04228.jpgDSC04232.jpgDSC04234.jpg

Just got back from my dad and I's first antelope hunt. Hunted area 70 South of Casper Wyoming and camped along the Platt River. Harvested a nice 70 class buck openning morning and 3 additonal does on Sunday. Already planning for next year!! All were harvested on private ranches in the North half of the hunt area. We did scout the public land for 2 days but saw very few goats on the public land. Something unusual was one of the does has horns with prongs!! The F&G officer at the check station said he had never seen a doe with that large of horns and with prongs.

That's way cool! I've never seen a doe with that big of horns either. Pretty unique.
