MT deer pre-rut is here a little early.

Well we got our first snow of the fall last week, and it definetly had the whitetails confused. I had my glendale buck target out, and when I woke up on Saturday, it was tipped all the way over and had an antler broken. Then just a few feet away was standing a very respectable 5pt buck. This guy must have been extremely mad at my target because he bent both pieces of 1/4 inch re-bar I used to stake the target down. Worst part was, that I couldn't even get my bow out to try and take a crack at him becasue my wife used my truck to run to town that morning.

Good to hear. Sounds like a good start with that news to deer hunting in Montana with the rut coming early.
