Thanks. Well it's a dink for the deer that were in that area. It's a mid 140's buck. I'm not making him out to be a crappy deer. He is very tall and to be honest he looks real cool and has a lot of great features. My only issue is he's only 3 1/2 years and could have been a record book deer if he was able to grow to maturity. I would have gone home without a deer but it wasn't my call. Jeff hasn't had a tag in a few years and hasn't had meat in the freezer either so he wanted to take a buck so he did.

The area we hunt have huge deer. This buck is a 3 1/2 year old and has a 20" neck!!! Wade wants any cape we can get from our area. He called me today and said the biggest body deer are comming from this area and the capes are amazing in silver tipped colors. Originally Posted by nvarcher
