Need Input (ASAP)! Buying Compact spotter...

I am buying a compact spotter for my yearly backcountry elk hunt. I am not able to swing the Nikon ED50 yet, and I have heard the raves about the Minox MD50...HOWEVER; I have a shot at a Brunton 9050ED (BRUNTON ETERNA 18-38X50MM) for the same $$. I appears Brunton dropped it's 50mm line, but all the Eternas are ED, fully multi-coated glass and usually run in the 800-1200 range. Not to mention it is a Wyoming Co. w/a lifetime warranty.
So, I value what I hear on here and Mikes blog, and have been looking at the Minox, I haven't heard any talk about this Brunton scope...does it live up to what it appears to be? By $$ and features (fully-multi and ED) it seems to be the equal to the Nikon. The Minox is only multicoated (not fully) and not ED.
Thoughts? Experience?

Did it cover the Brunton 9050ED? I have seen a lot of good threads on the Minox, but was hoping on intel on this Brunton as it looks better on paper.

I dont believe so. Nikon, vortex and a few others.

Rolled the dice; ordered the Brunton. Will field test and repost with results when I get the chance.

It's for next year, already back this year...first time eating tag soup. But, that's why they call it huntin', not killin'. Had a blast anyway.

Kind of wondering the same thing.....At this point in time, unless I ABSOLUTELY need the optics ASAP, I usually wait until after SHOT Show to buy or even consider new optics.

I picture a smoking pocket with cash falling out. cancel the order hit a convention or the nearest dealer and feel em out. Lick em see how they taste. Drop em see how they hold up. Most important compare them and see what you like. Throw .38 cents a day into a old pickle jar until next season and get the nikon. Many of options here.
