I was confused as to what parts I would need from the website for an iPhone 4. Do I just need a c1 & c3, or do I need all three pieces?

You will need a c1,c3. The c2 is a universal adapter. I'm with you, website is confusing.

These iPhone adaptors work pretty well. I have one similar to the one Drhorsepower has. I have a Kowa that fits my iPhone 4S. What came with mine were two adaptors that fit both my Vortex Razor HD 85mm spotter and my Razor 10x42 binos. My wife is getting a iPhone 5 that I'm hearing has even better low light sensors. I'll need to get another adaptor for the iPhone 5 though. I did a test back on October 10 just after the sun went down on the 4S. While I did not film out past 250 yards it did pretty good in the low light right after sunset. The iPhone and scope together seemed to bring out the light on the images and auto fine tuned focused well. I'm looking forward to see some more updates on folks scouting or reviews on them. Happy trails everyone.

Thanks sjsmallfield. It seemed to work well from my playing around with it so far. Even though I work at Apple Inc, I'm not in the tech developing part of the company so I seem to learn more at times from reading what folks are doing with our products . With free self timer apps, tripod adaptors and now with the scope adaptors for smart phones it is bringing some more possible options or solutions for folks out there in getting some multiple uses from their phone.
