cooking small game in the backcountry

Just curious if anyone was taking small game while in the backcountry on hunting or scouting trips, and how you prepare it. I usually pack a Snow Peak, or similar cup of around 25oz that I can boil meat in and a few bullion cubes, but don't seem to use it for more than boiling water. I ordered a kit from Ruta Locura to convert a Crickett 22 into a 15oz pack rifle to carry so I was thinking I should check out some more recipes for rabbits and squirrels. I also got a little titanium grill from them that I could use for campfire cooking.

Thanks for any help you can give.
