    3rd season CO Elk

    Weather looks shitty for next week in area 55 -sunny and 50's. What to do? Burn some boot leather I guess.

    Yep...looks like the southern part of the state will have sunny, warm weather. The Silverton area did get a dusting of snow a couple of days ago. Down here in the Durango/Cortez area forecast is for high 60's/lows in the high 20's with no moisture in sight.

    I know you can suffer through the sunshine. Except for Sat. You might get some moisture.

    I'm here now in 62.Real warm and no animals.Hunted hard for 2 and a half days so far and have not seen an elk,,Dead or alive

    Keep diggin! Looks like we are in for some weather Friday PM & Sat. Hope for an I" or so of snow, that will really liven things up.

    by early Sunday there could easily be a half foot or more new on much of the west slope above maybe 7000
