A few pics of where we were hunting. Lizard came out to chill with me. Or I guess it's warm up

This is the dink we got. A crap ton of hunters and low deer numbers and we packed out the best buck we could find in 5 days of hunting and a 5 mile pack out. All and all it's better then a day at work. We kept a positive attitude and kept our spirits high while we were on the pack out. I did find 2 separate Mt Lion tracks wich was cool. Meat for the freezer, good memories, and a perfect cape for the taxi to use for someone else. All in all a success.

Ya the country is awesome. We had a good time. Just disappointing to have had such a great honey hole for years turn into crap. On the up side it's always cool to find a new honey hole for a few years and then come back. Maybe it will be back to the way it was. Thanx!

Congratulations IKIC, good buck for the conditions. Here's to hoping NDOW recognize their mistake and your honey hole once again is flourishing with too many bucks to count! Nice pictures too, thanks for sharing.

Congrats ikic. Hopefully he left you with some meat for all your help. As for your spot. Nothing gold can stay pony boy!! Thats the fun of being a hunter. Adapt overcome. Time for a new unexplored basin with resident deer that have never seen a human!
