Any south east mule deer hunting going on ??

So has anyone been out mule deer hunting yet. thought there would be some stories posted on here for this season. Well we leave wed for our trip out so maybe I will have to be the first to post on this thread. our maybe lets see some pics our stories from previous years. Man I am so jacked up right now . the truck is packed and we r ready to head out after work

Well I can't answer for the southeast, but in Central MT the bucks are starting to rut pretty good. I saw a huge buck (like mid 180's)on some private land the other day, and he didn't even care that I was only 100yds away looking at him. He just kept his nose to the ground and chased his does around. I also rattled in the biggest whitetail I have seen on my property on Sat. but I had my bow and never got a shot. Looks like the weather is warming up this week so you might have to put more miles on your boots to find the big bucks. Good luck.

I'm bob from WA, post as fish. I sure hope you can better him. I'm envious of your MT hunt. I wish I was going to my friends place in MT this year. There in MT now looking for a small place to buy, so hopefully I'll be hunting with them next season. After such a shitty season in WA, any buck would look great now. I think if you hunt harder than I did on my antelope hunt hunt, you'll come back with a nice buck. Good luck

Hey Guys im heading out that way on monday afternoon got a couple cow elk tags to fill down in WY first then heading back up to SE MT on thurs through monday and hoping to drop the hammer on some decent bucks. Hope you guys have a good hunt cant wait to see the pics.

we need help man there are no shooter bucks in the areas ne of broadus on blm land we have been hunting the custer and around broadus and seen 15 does or so a day but only 5 bucks in 5 days. any 1 got any help runnimg out of time. tried hiking way back in drove around glassed my eye balls crossed . just cant find deer on huntable property all on private and still no shooter deer. help please

Was a tough year where I was for sure just didn't see the quality or quantity this year.
