So this morning a doe was slowly walking down a trail and I knew soon enough she was going to catch my wind. Sure enough, the hunt was over... She bounced out to 80 yards and stood there blowing for 4-5 minutes. I waited to another 30-45 minutes and completely discouraged I climbed down from the stand and called it an early morning.

But was my hunt really over??? I get very discouraged when this happens and rarely do i give it much time after I get busted. It feels like they have just told every deer in the woods, don't come over here...

So my question: Does anyone out there have any luck after an incident like this? Where they really get busted? Do deer evidently start moving through again? Or is it just over?

Thanks in advance!!
