    Unit 67 Mule Deer Results

AWise1 wanted to see a post of my hunt showing good results from the aid he provided me. Well here is what happened. This deer was near the gps cordinates he provided me. To top it all off while driving on a 4wd trail a California hunter gave me trail. I stopped to thank him and California Joe told me about seeing our post about unit 67. Small world.
Things happened fast with only minutes of legal shooting time left. Just 30 minutes earlier I had let a 150 walk but now I quickly put the binos on this large deer and decided to use him as my trophy mule deer from unit 67. The Browning 7mm with the Leopold VX-7 and Bergers 168 vld allowed the big muley to walk about ten steps before falling dead.
A younger friend accompanied me on this trip making it just that much better. He is not a hunter but enjoyed the expierence. Thanks to all who helped this 70 year old

Great job! I'm so glad that you had a successful hunt! Something told me to check the forum tonight and that Xtreme might have a buck down already. A fine, quality animal that you can be proud of!

A bad day in the woods is better than a good day at work.
