Nevada and Arizona just got bumped above Colorado and New Mexico, even Texas moved up above them. Red state or death.

Apparently the majority of our country thinks the gov should start making more of our decisions for us. So much for freedom and prosperity, here comes more regulation and taxation. Wonder how high gas will go, or maybe he will just start giving away electric cars. I guess it's easier to convince people they are "victims" than convince them to get a damn job.

There are many reasons I did not vote for Obama. One big one was his stance on firearms.

I've read, that according to the NRA, Obama opposed all right-to-carry laws. Obama endorsed a complete ban on handgun ownership. Obama voted to ban almost all rifle ammunition used for hunting and sport shooting. Obama voted for a ban on standard capacity firearms magazines. Obama was a member of the Board of Drirectors of the Joyce Foundation, the leading source of funds for anti-gun organizations and research. And much more.

So, I did not vote for Barack Obama, who won the Presidential vote yesterday. It is not the end of the world. It's time for me to quit my whining and move on. I believe that your attitude determines 99% of your future. Spend 99% of your time making a difference for you and those you care about, rather than complaining about an election we might not have hoped for. My prayers will continue to go out to our President Barack Obama for his future decisions that will affect our country and our world.

We still live in the greatest country in the world. Go out and make a difference every day. It's time to go hunting.

It takes all that Red to pay for the Blue. I think we are stuck on the electoral vote system, but I agree it is quite interesting looking at the map.

Kevin Root, If you shoot a rifle as dead-on accurate as your opinion is in this post, you must be a heck of a shot! Thanks for sharing some wise perspectives with us. As always, this is a good time for some prayers.
