Looking to see if anyone has hunted the Tex Creek elk hunt in SE Idaho and can provide any pointers.
I've been in the area a few times during the summer, just don't know where to begin to find a spot to hunt. The WMA seems to be snow dependant for migrating herds. We received a fair amount of snow recently and thought it might be enough for the elk to move into the area. Are there any places to try and find the places they move into first?
