With no snow and warm temperatures so far, where should one look for elk for the season starting November 24th?

I've scouted areas that held elk last December with more snow, but this year are void of any tracks. Unfortunately my scouting day alotment is up so I'll be heading into an area where I did see just a few tracks. Thus I'd like to have an idea or two of an area to try if we burn out our other areas.
