I had done a lot of practicing shooting my rifle out to longer distances and then ended up shooting him at no more than 50 yards in the aspens. I had lugged the bogpod around all dang day all over the mountain and then used my knee for a rest as it all happened pretty fast. The second picture was taken about 30 minutes after I had shot my bull. I was busy gutting out my bull and heard some elk coming so I grabbed the camera and it turned out to be a cool picture. Now I have to wait a whole year to try it again!
