My favorite bear

I found this bear in an extremely high wind and there was not a chance he could smell me. I advanced until he started to move away going up hill. I yelled at him to get his attention and when he looked at me I retreated, at that point he turned back toward me and came back to his original location. I was unarmed and begining to get nervous so as he lay down on his tummy spread eagle, I retreated and left him alone. By my estimate, we were 35 yards apart and he was good with that but gave ground if I got any closer.

That's a good looking bear. It's fun and exciting to have a close interaction with a bear, especially when your'e not armed. Nice photo too!

My favorite is bear is Polar Bear.The polar bear was built to survive freezing temperatures. They prefer seals, but will eat anything they can get their paws on.
