The biggest bull i have ever seen on national forest in CO. And the easiest elk hunt i have ever been on also.

The ol saying goes " I rather be lucky than good"

That's a great looking bull! I'd really love to hear the story of how easy it was!

My easiest bull was here in Oregon. I turned down the wrong road opening morning, as I was backtracking I looked above the road and there was a bull at the top of the clear cut. I got out, hiked up the bank a bit and killed the bull. With snow on the ground I slid him downhill whole, backed up into the hill and rolled him whole into the bed of my truck. By 8:30 am I was heading home.

Wow. Can I hunt with you? I feel extra stupid hiking around at 10,000 feet for 8 days to not kill an elk! Your way is much easier!

Awesome bull too. That's got to be tops on a list of hunting achievements, giant public land CO bull.
