    MT General Season elk

I ended up finding a six point after passing on seemingly endless smaller bulls. He isn't quite the monster I was hoping for, but a fine bull nonetheless.

It was a great season, and I simply can't wait for next year!

I am eating as much moose as fast as I can. Not tough duty though ... it is delicious!

There have been many burns that ran into each other there. I am not sure which year this particular burn was, but the area burned in 2000, 2001, 2003, 2008, and 2010.

The biggest acreage happened in 2000, and the best hunting was the following year. The worst part about hunting the burns is trying to keep the deadfall off the trails.
