Great story Ivorytip. I have family in Shelley so I know exactly what you mean by it would not have survived the stroll through town. Special-op beaver 40 pounds of lumbering slap tail he may have had a future. Well hopefully the damage is minimal and your father can enjoy being the only man ever to trap a beaver that was squatting under his shed.

just 40 pounds; that is small. When i was running my wildlife management business in boise I removed one 71 pound beaver and one 65 pound beaver from a subdivision in Eagle along the river. Must have been grandma and grandpa.
Crazy stuff happens like a badger in downtown boise. haha
